What it's like

Two islands off Hurghada, Giftun Kebir (Big Giftun, to the west) and Giftun Soraya (Little Giftun, to the east), sold by operators as Giftun Island National Park. Tour boats stop at set beaches such as Orange Bay, Mahmya and Paradise Island and at reef snorkel stops. Operators quote about 20 to 30 minutes by speedboat and 45 to 60 minutes by day boat from Hurghada Marina.
